Please Help Identify This Piece

My sons and I do a lot of fossil hunting along Calvert Cliffs in Southern MD and metal detecting in the local area. Today we came across this piece of blue and white porcelain shard on the beach that had washed a shore and wanted to know if anyone could help identify for us. The measurements are 3.75" x 1.75" Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

With a lot of researching of picture online you may get lucky and find that very pattern. My guess it's a piece of tableware from the 1940's 1950's era.
