Please help identifying this piece!

I’ve tried to find where to post in (Whats This), but no Luck

Anyway, I found this at an old 1850’s house.
Made of brass. Has an ornate side & the other side is flat. It doesn’t appear to have been fastened to anything. Back is super smooth. I found it about 3 years ago & I really want to know what it is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe Joecoins nailed it, I too believe it is an Amulet Thai Budda ( one of thousands)
It was meant to be carried in one's hand to offer or ask for prayers!

Just so happens I was drawing this symbol the other day researching my alloy dagger... Geus what I think amulet #4 looks like..... Lol

It was an old farm house in central Indiana. I believe the property / house is from the 1850’s & may date back earlier. Had a house out front with 2 large super old barns in back. Yes, I found it in ground with detector. Was several inches deep.
