#4 - flat drill bit for wood

Last pic looks like a spade bit drill. The second like a clamp of some sort.

#2 - "U" bolt - commonly used for holding automobile exhaust system components together.

#4 - Looks to be about a 3/4" or 1" spade drill bit.
