PMD?

I’m thinking PMD, but the Philadelphia “P” and some letters look more washed out than other damaged coins I’ve seen. Could it be a dirty die? Thanks.

While the area at the right and bottom of the motto show signs of a greaser, the circular wear pattern both obverse and reverse indicate innumerable cycles through coin operated machines or rolling machines. The area you question could be both. A closer look with a loupe could be helpful.
