Went inside a gas station to pay for gas. On my way out, I saw that they had a special on some candy bars. Purchased them then got this for change. My very first silver change. A 1943p nickel! Made my day. Showed it to my wife and she said I'm crazy. Thanks for letting me share. Only you fine folks would understand.

Nice, we definitely understand. I did receive a war nic as well at a gas station about a month back. Thx for sharing pocket change finds are rare these days

My wife thinks I'm crazy too. I have my son checking coin star machines and she just shakes her head. But you should have seen his face when he came over with a hand full of change the other day, no silver but some good foreign coins. Nice find from the pocket.

Ha ha ha. I have my son checking the coinstar machine every time we come across one. He found a '55 quarter once. He now has his own coin album. My son constantly checks the machines, even if I'm not with them. My wife thinks were nuts, lol.

It's universal. My kids love checking the machine, and under it, the wife hates it.

My son hit the one at the local WalMarx a few weeks ago, and came away with 4 tokens for the batting cage, 2 silver dimes, and 11 pounds British! Lol... Two big handfulls!
