Interesting find. What did it cost for the x-ray?

That X-ray would be my avatar, I can't even afford a chest x-ray.
Kudos!

That is a really cool set of pics!

That looks great...I would not remove the concretion and just display it in a shadow box with the x-ray. I have a concretion full of musketballs I want to get x-rayed one day.

Congrats on an very interesting find.

@ old digger, thanks! I work on X-Ray equipment in the medical field so I take as avatar of it lol

NJ,
Most X-Ray techs are really cool, they would probably x-ray your musket balls. If you live around Ft. Worth TX, I could have my girl friend x-ray them for you. She is a X-Ray\MRI Tech. And better yet she loves to metal detect!!!

My curiosity get the best of me and I did remove the concrete, the glass was broken and hands and numbers were long gone. It looks like it was silver but so tarnished. The face is gold. I've misplaced it since my last move. I'll post pics when I find it again

Nowhere near TX but thanks for the offer. I'm sure someone around here would do it for me...just a matter of asking.
