Pocketwatch and other keepers need an ID

Hit a 1800s farmhouse I have done in the past. I would like to know what the piece of aluminum is to. It has a wreath and shield on it and "1776" on the shield. Obviously it's not that old. It may have had an eagle on it too. The pocket watch is a Bristol. I have no clue on age. The piece with the painting on it looks old but the back has plastic so I don't think it is. The wheat is a 1924... Pretty good 2 hour hunt. Thanks for looking!

Off subject but since it's my thread I figured if post it here too... What's the symbol under the Reichert name mean? There's two in this photo. The map is 1874. It's up the road from where I found all this stuff and I'm allowed to hunt this weekend.
