King Biscuit Flower Hour broadcast of country-rock band Poco, recorded on 11/2/1973 at Orrie de Noover Auditorium at Farleigh Dickerson University in Madison NJ. Poco was on tour to support their 6th album Crazy Eyes, released in Sept. 1973. For this album, Poco had brought in guests Chris Hillman (ex-Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros. & Stephen Stills/Manassas) on mandolin and two other Manassas members, Paul Harris on piano and Joe Lala on percussion. At the time of this concert, Young and Grantham were the only remaining original Poco members, with the recent departure of Richie Furay, Jim Messina & Randy Meisner. Poco recruited Paul Cotton on guitar & vocals and Timothy B. Schmit on bass & vocals. Poco 1973 band members: Paul Cotton - lead guitar, vocals; Rusty Young - pedal steel, banjo, vocals; Timothy B. Schmit - bass, acoustic guitar, vocals; George Grantham - drums, vocals.
