My Great-Grandmother found this point years ago in a cave in Clinton Arkansas. When I was young and being interested in points I would always ask to see it, I guess eventually she got tired of me asking and just gave it to me. I’m curious as to what type it is and possibly the material. Its mainly a sentimental piece.

Yes. Definitely a Gary. Find alot of those here in Arkansas. Nice little point. Made out of noveculite. A type of chert that is unique to the Ouachita mountians in western Arkansas.
