I was up in the woods yesterday getting ready to do a little metal detecting. That was when I noticed Teddy laying flat on his face. He wasn't moving. When I turned him over I realized that his stomach had burst open. Probably too much Turkey on Thanksgiving, the day before. I made him as comfortable as I could but there wasn't much else I could do. Poor Teddy is dead.

Out of curiosity, is the location near where one would expect to find a dead Teddy?

Well I've seen raccoon, (dead), squirrel, and deer. But this is the first bear that I've come across. Hope there are no Lions and Tigers,, oh my.

Good riddance, he was an obonxious drunken son of a brdge

Last week was bear season here in Pa. The first day, on my way home at lunch time, I saw the neighbors had 3 black bears and a coyote laying in their yard. I guess they got 3 of the 5 they had seen that day, on the mountain behind my house. We had 2 here on and off all summer.

Teddy is in a better place now. God bless him.

''I just can't bear it, poor teddy is dead!'' :dontknow::crybaby2:

You sure it was the turkey that killed him, and not all the stuffing?

OMG this has become unbearable

I can't bear how punny you are lol. :)

Poor Teddy.

Why don't you save your insipient remarks, and stick with the general subject matter. In other words take a chill pill.

he clearly had the stuffing beat outta him...

Do you think Teddy's wounds were self inflicted?
