Me and a friend have been detecting an old home site off and on for a few months now. It seems to always give up something interesting. Pretty stingy on coins but has been good for little relics. I found what I think is a pin that is from the Port Huron B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 343. There is a lot of detail on it for as small as it is. (Slightly larger than a half dollar). Looks like nickel plated brass. I love finding unusual things like this. From Michigan but found in California. Can anyone put a date to it? port huron pin (2).webp

Why not give them an Email with a pic and ask them?

Don...........

I sent them an e-mail and a message on their Facebook page but no response. Most people that don't detect look at something like this and consider it trash.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I also love stuff like that pieces of history that display nice I like those kinds of things more than coins most of the time. Great find Tommy

A nice piece of history, which has value regardless of monetary worth. Congrats to ya mate! :skullflag: :occasion14:

I live in Port Huron, and posted it to a local history site.....should get an answer....

Killer find!, the odd shape makes me think it might be a watch fob with the top broken off.
What's the back look like?
Kudos!
Carl
