This one has been beating me up as to a type.
The base is cortex and not broke. May possibly
Be a Alberta even though I’m outside it’s range.

Looks like someone either later found it and started to mess it up by working on it on that opposite side, or the original knapper over flaked it and tossed it. I'm wondering if it was also intended to be a scottsblull? Buy it does have characteristics of a alberta type, but just messed up on that one side.

Interesting looking point! Thanks!

Even with that cortex it may have been used. Big strong flakes drove off of it.

Cool relic.

It does have the outline, but the flaking looks more recent to me than what I expect for Cody Complex related material (Cody/Scotty/Eden/Albert/Firstview.) I'd guess it's more Adena age than late Paleo/Early Archaic.

don't get hung up on a name, it is a basic type you are looking for.
