Looks like 1775, this was a VERY popular date for counterfeit British (style) halfpennies.

I'm super busy with work. I've been trucking a lot for lobsters and slap the detector in the truck. If I have to wait an hour for the fisherman to come in I go hunting. Some of them have nice old property's. :)

I live in Nova Scotia. Back then god knows what random coins got traded around. There was lots of activity between here and the states through the years so who knows.
