I tend to collect all the old ammo cartridges I find on my families 20 acres. Was an old home sight on it that burnt down in the 1800s. Seems the people whom lived there hunted a ton. Found this one and hoping it is early looks different then most I find and the primer looks different then newer ones. I know they aren't worth anything but I enjoy collecting them and dating the old ones as I find them. Any one with knowledge of these I'd appreciate your input, thank you. mir_20210808_172400.webpmir_20210808_172444.webpmir_20210808_172536.webp

.32 S&W. Introduced in 1878 and still produced. THE WRA Co headstamp was used until 1928. So you falls in that era.

Many of the notorious "Saturday Night Special" revolvers used that.

"He got a .32 gun in his pocket for fun. He got a razor on his shoe."

Thank you for the information. I like learning about these. Kind of neat being the Winchester house is about 2 hours from where I live. So I like to collect any of the old Winchester cartridges I dig up here. Hoping this one is closer to the 1878 date.
