I went out today. Ground still frozen in spots so hunted grassy ball field.
A little bit of clad and the usual ballpark trash and this earring. It hit Gold on the AT Pro.
It tested 10k.
I am not sure if the stones are CZ or diamond.
Close up of the earring shows no flaking as plated would.
What other tests can I make?

Very nice save on the earring, congrats

You could try magnet on the post. No expert here, but I would think the post would be gold, too.

Yeah I was wondering why the post was not gold. The post is attracted to a magnet but not the ball.
I checked again with the 10K acid.

It is one of those items you REALLY want to be gold BUT I am open to opinions.
It is just so heavy for its size.

Take it to the jeweler.. Neat find
