It's possible it is a tool used for cutting. The Indians used tools like this to skin deer, rabbits, etc. to clean fish, all kinds of things we use pocket knives for.

Looks like an item I found once in Missouri. I was told it was a hand tool used to scrape the inside of animal hides.

I found an artifact in my yard recently. I'm not an expert but it appears to be of Native origin. It bears a resemblance to an arrowhead but doesn't looks different from the others I've seen. Can anyone explain what it is if anything at all?

Hide scraper I would guess!
