...doesn't appear to be a shark's tooth, but rather a levanna point. Thoughts?

Seems really worn, but that would make sense if it was on a beach. The wear makes it really hard to tell if it was worked by man. The material kind of looks like rhyolite porphyry. I’m north of you and the beaches around here have similar material scattered among the cobbles. Someone in the NA artifacts forum would know better than I.
