Possible Quarry Site?

Found a few flakes in this area as well but no points or anything really definitive. Wondering what you guys thought. Good lookin material, some of it has been hit a few times. Thought I might have found a quarry site, it was all and more within about a 30ft by 30ft area let me know what you think. Also wondering if you guys new what the one peice was that is in its own pic here. Thanks HH

My best guess would be that it's a possible quarry site- in so far as the picture shows some large primary percussion flaking debatage. I guess more info would be needed because these sort of artifacts can show up outside of actual quarry sites also. The second close up picture doesn't look like too much to me... it's kind of hard to tell from the picture but it does look like an ordinary rock to me at this point. Regardless of that second piece, the large primary or reduction flakes that you have there would indicate to me that you are certainly in a good area! I for one am looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
