I found this at a home site my buddy just cleared. There used to be a old cotton plantation on the site. Please let me know if i'm wrong on the ID but from the internet i think it was a rain gaurd for a sword. it reads Jefferys " Cutler for his majesty'' Strand.
i beleive this was either Thomas Jefferys or his sons Nathanial Jefferys they had a shop on Strand St. in London. I think it was a preety cool dig and silver is always a plus for me.
