Found this in the river today,it has an omar on one side but I thought the grinding on edges were odd any thoughts?

I’m a coil master but I also hunt for and collect Native American artifacts so let’s not jump to conclusions. The grinding to an edge on the rock looks recent. That’s my two cent opinion.

If you are in Hawaii it looks something like an adze. Very angular, odd handle.
