Another from the auction box, my first impression was that it could be a very old one. Not a lot to go on, kinda maybe a flute, probably basal thinning, kinda the right shape for some paleo points but not the tell tale auriculate shape, not super sharp but not obviously ground… any opinions?

The thinning strikes look a lot like the flutes unless of course it was whole then we would be able to know for certain. I find points with thinning strikes that make me wonder sometimes
 

Thanks for the input, wondering if the side with the two strikes wasn’t a set up for a flute… or it’s just a broke from who knows when, still thinking on the box where it might have came from
