Why not, at least the weather won't be an issue. Depending on what kind of medical supplies you were finding, it might be good to wear gloves to avoid being injured. Good luck & post your finds...I’ve wanted to search this dirt floor cellar of mine for along time now. I’ve found 3ringers down there and it was full of medical supplies when I cleaned it out. Think it’s worth looking?
I just checked. Gold was $20.67 per troy ounce in 1924. Too bad he didn't save them & give them to his kids or grand kids. Who knows how many rare dates were in the batch also.Wonder what $2,000 is in today's money?
I did scoop the ground lightly when I cleaned it out. The floor was fell in and rebuilt it but since then it’s falling again because a storm took the roof. So seems like I’ll have to rebuild it again. The medical supplies were pills injectables metal splints there was a plastic skeleton like at a doctors office. But a shelf was full of pills and stuff u stick the needle in with liquid inside it. Ball jars with odd stuff inside it and some random thangs that had fell down there. Along with some 3 ringers gunshot I’m guessing. Just an old medical cellar/ storm cellar. With a pulley made into the wall. I’m not sure what it all was for but it was old stuff. I’m sure I can round some up that ended up scattered. I know one of the injectable meds is laying in my barn and some old glass pill bottles here and there. There was also mercury. Why not, at least the weather won't be an issue. Depending on what kind of medical supplies you were finding, it might be good to wear gloves to avoid being injured.
