So Been really busy, but here are my last two outings from the past two weeks. The silver came from a spot that someone took me too that was a minor league baseball field since the early 1900s. The other relics are from a couple cellar holes that I hit up. Found my first powder flask which I can check off the old bucket list, could not find the cap to it for the life of me though. Also found this coin I can not identify, Ill pos the details on that in the "what is it" forum. I swear it has the letters "zeping" showing and what looks to be a wreath on that same side, but not positive on that. Everything but the silver found at the ball field was found with my nox 800 with my new 6 inch coil. This coil is super handy in the cellar holes, and even still picked up that coin at 10 inches down! Not bad at all. Thanks for checking it out!

Nice finds!

What is the size of your unknown coin? Large cent sized? Smaller?

large cent size but not any large cent I have found has those letters or anything close, i was gonna post measurements in the what is it forum when i get home. The edge of the faces of the coin also have what looks like the milled reeds or whatever you call those hatch marks around the perimeter(not on the actual side edge of the coin though).

Yeah definitely not a large cent, my initial guess given the area I assume you found it based on your info would be some kind of Canadian bank token but can't seem to find an exact match...

That powder flask is very cool, congrats on the excellent saves:icon_thumleft:

Tpmetal, looks like you had a great hunt, congrats. I really like the powder flask and the crotal bell - both are still on my bucket list. Good luck with your hunts. Walt

Yeah the area was settled in the early 1800s, and the diameter of the coin is 28mm. I looked at bank tokens for a little bit, also no luck. I thought at one point I could see a date of 181* but could have been 184* or 187*. Now I can seem to see it anymore. So who knows if my eyes were just playing tricks on me

Bells are my absolute fav! Thanks for checking it out, it's not my seated silver finds, but this is actually a pretty good day for me at cellar holes in terms of quality finds. Usually I need 2 or 3 hunts for this many goodies

Great find on the powder flask, I got one last weekend myself.

Nice finds! Nice Washington and Merc! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: I'm really liking that bell. Pretty cool.

Sweet powder flask. Hoping I can find one myself. Congrats on the nice finds. :icon_thumright:
