Hopefully these bottom photos will now post. IMG_20131009_092338.webpIMG_20131009_113529.webpIMG_20131009_113506.webp This fellow is the Ecospeed Salesman. We ended up going with Ceram-Kote, a ceramic epoxy system that cures harder than the actual aluminum. Where pitting was present IMG_20140114_105815.webp there is a companion product called Ceram-Grout IMG_20140209_165337.webpIMG_20140209_165337.webpIMG_20140209_165337.webp IMG_20140210_173439.webp
For some time now I have been absent from Treasure Net but have continued to follow postings of its participants...

Unfortunately most undersea exploration projects end up becoming peeing matches between original and then newer participants. Lawyers are keen to jump on to this situation and become its best beneficiaries. The experience of Jupiter Wreck from the beginning has been a life changing event for all of my wives, including hopefully the most current, supportive and last one, Yvonne and myself.

For the last year, we have been refitting our research vessel, the MRV "Enterprise". We put her in Seminole Boat Yard, stripped her down to bare aluminum and though using many of the tricks-of-the-trade I have picked up over the past 30 years of being a man of the sea, {"we all start out as seamen"}, have her almost ready for her next great adventure.... Here is a few photographs of her and the refitting process... Just her bottom alone

Interested??/

that is some trick of the trade, getting her to float upside down!

20150114_141936.webp We have installed a dual purpose solar array 20150310_152032.webp on top of the enterprise Bridge /Deck.20150114_144300.webp The solar panels provide a shaded area around thee command bridge while capturing the sun's rays and electrical power. Thus far we have installed 12 panels and two flexible strips.
As I am having difficulty adding photos I will post this - then add more info. Our Enterprise does not "live at a dock!" she is at home on the hook and now will better serve its mission by harnessing the power of the sun.

Nice tub , looks like a great platform to operate from , good luck with your treasure hunting ventures .. cheers Mick

Congrats, it looks to have been no small task.

I wish you the best of luck and calm seas.

The structure making up the center of the solar Array rack will house two 24 volt DC battery storage packs. It is well ventilated and the weight centrally located away from living quarters.

We have a cascade air storage system on board feeding a multiple reel hooka system. She is going to have 4 seperate battery storage systems 12, 24, and 48 volt DC with multiple charging sources.

The different batteries are 12 volt is for house starting batteries, 24 volt for inverter AC conversion, 48 volt DC for two zone air Conditioning.

Looks like we are going to see some intact chests of Gold coins coming out of the water soon. I contend there are a lot of them placed in nice straight lines. Looks like you are well prepared to prove I am right.. As your biggest fan, you will hear me excitedly cheering you on. I sure wish I had the money to invest in you. It looks like a sure thing. Please keep us informed.

Thanks Smithsgold... Here are a few more photos...20150129_140436.webp This is the underside of what is now our main frame to anchor the solar array. It also has a 125 gallon tank built into it we are going to turn into a solar hot water holding tank. I think this thing originally was going to be a drug smuggling semi-submersible. But, the guy building it ****-the-bed and I have re purposed it to also house two of our battery storage banks.20141212_092657.webp sorry it posts sideways.20150107_122914.webp I originally had an air breathing diesel gen set installed up there on the top of our new contraption but its wiring smoked and I will be removing it when I get back next week. I picked up a nice marine 12.5kw Onan / Cummings Gen Set, in a hush box and intend on installing it in September after I finish paying for it {anyone want to purchase a coin?}20150214_104135.webp "Free Electricity" gets expensive to actually use in the real world.... My next big expense is going to be standardizing 3 new seperate 24volt and 48 volt DC battery storage banks. Now, folks that is a lot of batteries! Air conditioning for me is a must! I found out mini-split air conditioner compressors actually work with DC compressors that have inverters built into them to convert AC current to DC... I got a manufacturer to trade with me for some treasure coins, three 48 volt DC mini-split systems. We are going to install two, a 24,000 BTU and an 18,000 BTU unit directly to their own dedicated 48 volt DC battery banks. These will be charged by each their own 4 panel dedicated solar array.
Like I said, "free electricity" isn't cheap!

Holy crap Capt Dom! Super impressive!. CONGRATULATIONS! :occasion14:
