This morning, after my daughter's soccer game, I get to make a presentation to the local historical society about our hobby. I found a few artifacts on two of their properties and they invited me to speak about and show some of the hidden history we uncover. I'll bring along some of my better coin finds and other interesting items found in three years of hunting. I hope to pick up a few more sites as a result of this event, but even if I don't, I'm happy to share my obsession with others! I'll post later to describe how the morning went.

My presentation to the historical society went well; the folks were interested in what I had to show and offered some good information about old places in town that might be good to search. I also was given permission to hunt two yards on the spot, so it was a good experience all around.

Congrats on your presentation! I'm glad it was well received. Great way to open up more opportunities.
