All of the banks were closed today, except for US Bank. I saw the signs on the doors last week that said they would be open today; and I was shocked.
So I made it my intention to call some to see if any had halves. I located $110.00 in halves which produced a big goose egg. lol
I also purchased $150 in nickles and had some really nice finds, at least to me.
My first ever war time nickles(2--1944P), and one is in really beautiful condition. Before I even got to look at the date I knew something was different about it, as it had the silver look to it.
1-1986 Cinco Cenavos Repbulica Dominicana (I think it might be silver,as I tried the magnet test and the coin did not stick to the magnet.)
1952, 1959, 1962, Canadian Nickles I also found 1964, and 1968 Canadian nickles but didn't take a photo of them.
I found approximately 75 pre 1960 nickles, many from the 1940's, three 1939, the rest were from the 1950's. I was too lazy to seperate and list them today.
