Pretty Indian cent, V, and picked up a hitchhiker

Been out a couple times in the last few days. Nothing earth shattering, but nice to get out. We need some rain.

The V is in decent shape, but the Indian Head came out really awesome after some toothpick work. I sure love my mild soil.

On my way home tonight I nearly hit this turtle, he was sitting right on the middle of the highway. I turned around and picked him up. In return for rescuing him, he peed all over the floor of my truck lol. Ingrate!

I think he was living in a pond beside the highway, so in order to prevent him from future highway visits, I drove him down to the river and let him go. Turtles are cool, glad I didn't hit him.

I just hate the popper's of this world that go out of their way to do a turtle in, sick minded. The turtles are 2+ weeks later laying this years from last year in my area, here's a shot of her doing the lay June 7/16 in front of my house along the road.

Cool pic, that looks like a big turtle! I don't know how people can go out of their way to needlessly hurt animals, although I do know people who would intentionally run over an animal and laugh about it. Makes me sick.

Within a week of this photo my wife witnessed a car go by, then back up, go ahead again. When looked over the edge down on the road the car had had done a pop over a 12" Snapper. Till this day I have visions of the little white car getting pooped by a 18 wheeler.
When a puppy pees when they meet you, some say they like you. Maybe the turtle was expressing it's love.
