Prizm 6T zinc and gold?

I was just on the White's web site and was looking at the 6T's display. I see a gold ring over the top of a zinc penny... and now I am wondering after all these years and all those zinc pennies I have ignored ... do gold rings sometimes hit as zinc? That would be news to me. But old dog new tricks might apply. Thanks everyone... Kirby

gold can just about hit anywhere.I use a minelab with a 180 meter an have found gold as low as 100 an as high as168. zinc come in anywhere from 162 to 175 depending on what the condation of the coin is in. 80% of my gold is 130-150, but some of my best pieces are in the 160-168, even small silver chains will come in around zinc..

with my DFX gold comes in on the low side and kind of gives a grunt tone or growl
