prizm 9.5 search coil (8.3 kHz)

I currently have a prizm III and was wondering if adding a prizm 9.5 search coil (8.3 kHz), would help me locate deeper targets, I'm currently using the standard 9 search coil.

for depth larger coils and if you can get it --- lower freq's ( like 3 help ) --- 3 is good for deep stuff -- but 15 is good for smaller gold type stuff --thats why the DFX is dual 3 & 15 freq.--- if your machine is stuck at 8.3 --( thus a typical mid range type unit) --a larger coil can help somewhat on depth but they are bulky and a good bit heavier and thus a pain to use as a rule.
