Prizm IV -- 9.5" loop

Picked up a new 9.5" loop for my Prizm yesterday. It seems to pick up deeper targets than the standard 8", but so far it doesn't seem to ID them as well. The jury is still out since I only got about an hour in tonight out in my yard, and we had some heavy rain this morning -- so perhaps the penny I dug at 8" would have showed up even with the standard loop. Dug 2 Lincolns and a wheatie, and none of them ID'd solidly. Spent most of the hour in an area next to my driveway that I thought I'd cleaned out pretty well. Perhaps tomorrow I'll just mark several targets at various depths, then switch back to the 8" for a better comparison...

I worked the bottom of a local sledding hill this evening with the bigger loop -- found $1.13 in clad in just under 2 hours, all shallow. Same ID issues as when I worked my yard with it, though I did get a few solid ID's. I'll go back one day soon and try the 8" loop.
