I've collected bottles for several years, mainly beer and some sodas and mainly from the WWII time period. Occasionally I add odd bottles I come across as well as ones that I haven't seen before or already know it's a seldom seen bottle. Yesterday morning, rather than detecting, I decided to walk a nearby lake as the shoreline has receded and in an area I walked at this time last year. Last year I found an earlier James Kinlen bottle there, but the back side was broke out, at least front still displays nicely. I found the Renner bottle yesterday very near where the Kinlen bottle was found last year. I had never seen this style bottle being used by The Renner Co. before, this one is complete and still in nice shape. I'm guessing it held soda or something similar being from the prohibition time period. I'm still convinced there's a dump up in the bank somewhere that I haven't found yet. A lot of broken bottles in the same area. Still a cool bottle to add to the collection. A few pictures of both bottles.

Nice eyeball find!

Great looking old bottle If you found 2 old bottles ln the same place I would start probing or carefully rake the surface The largest amount of glass would be the center of the dump Andin this case it might be a great place to spend hours finding some real gems good luck
