This coin is thicker then normal coins and very shinny. wondering if it might be a proof or just not circulated very much.

No, it is not a proof. All Kennedy proofs have a "s" mintmark except the 1964.

No the SMS are not marked either. I am looking for other markers on the SMS coins so I can tell the difference between a SMS and a well struck circulating coin beside the mirrored fields.

Sorry, no proof halves were minted in 65,66,or 67.

A couple of proofs I found in the last 6 months. I guess technically the 67 is SMS. Notice none have the frosted head.
