Puerto Rico: Finding Gold and Silver Detecting & Prospecting

Hello all...not sure if any of you looked at my last post on going to Puerto Rico prospecting, but I went and found some gold! Both panning and metal detecting the beach! Found a few flakes panning below La Mina River in the El Yunque National Forest (where there once was a gold and silver mine) and found a gold ring detecting on the beach at our resort!
