Puget Sound, WA. State

Doe's anyone know about how much bottom sand moves per foot of tide change in the Puget Sound area? South Puget sound area near Tacoma WA.

I'm looking for coins we saw several years ago during record high tides. They were in a patch ten feet wide by twenty feet long, laying about four inches apart. They were bigger than the quarters we dropped beside them and they appeared to have a yellow tinge to them compared to the silver quarters.

Dont know about the cubic foot sand movement... but...

Maybe its the location of old ferry terminal, they have moved around a bit throughout the years...

Could be some old silver... but the yellow tint in Tacoma could be pollution that they have dumped into the water around there.

There are a TON of coins, most modern... around the ferry terminals..

People, mainly kids, throw money into the water and on to the pillars all day long.

Anyways... probably getting offtopic..
