🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Puzzling rock?

This rock has a lot going on. Looks like a lot organic matter. I can look at this rock forever. Trying to figure out what it consist. This was cut off a bigger rock that had a lot of the same stuff.

Forever,s a long time! I,m not a rock guy so won,t hazard a guess,but it,s a cool looking rock,I,ll agree!

My best guess is petrified wood, looks like some tree rings in there.

How could ya not be living round here?? I have always looked down when walking and picked up anything that caught my eye. Now since moving here takes 20 minutes to walk through the rocks to get to the truck,lol. And don't even get me out around the lake now it's down so low. Petit Jean area. I've picked up so many interesting "rocks" in the 4 yrs living here and have not a clue what they are. But trying to figure it out is half the fun. Got a few things I wanna throw up here, but putting in my time before I ask. Ain't gonna be one of those dudes!!!

Down here,only rocks we got are the ones on gravel roads! I like low water times on the rivers,occasonaly you come across gravel on a sandbar,some nice rocks there! Always lookin!
