I don't think it's gold. Gold in quarts is still gold in color.

Being that you have green leaching into the rock matrix it probably has some copper in it.

Looks like bornite (or some variation of it) with some malachite, the green, a copper mineral. Value? well that depends on who's buying the rock Good color.

Rock shops will buy cool specimens sometimes. Doesn't hurt to try....Might get a few bucks.
