After searching $600+ in CWR on Saturday and another $600 + a few days prior and finding only one silver, I was ready for some luck.
I had some deposits to make for work and picked up about $70 in CWR and loose halves. 6 of e rolls were pristine 1971 and 1972 Kennedy's. I was thinking to myself "I hope he made it into his supply of '60's Kennedys". Well he used 1 1968 to fill the last roll - it was on the end.
I the way home I had to stop at the Kwik e mart. At the counter I asked the owner if he had any half dollars in his till. He looked and nope. "hang on" he said and walked to the back. He came back with a bowl full of all the oddball coins that he has taken in. I was thrilled. There were dollar coins and halves, of which I bought $4 worth, 1 was a 40% Kennedy! I will be back periodically to check that bowl. He paid me to shop there today and probably doesn't know it!
2 more for the pile.
