Got a call from Jack (jewaugh) with an invitation to hunt together. Met him at a school that was closed down. The school was built in the 60s. Coins everywhere, but not many older ones. There were signs that others had hunted the area recently. We could not figure why there were so many newer coins everywhere, but hardly any old ones. I found a couple of wheat pennies and he found a couple. No silver anywhere. We tried another location with the same results. It was supposed to rain, but fortunately it held off. Just a few sprinkles now and then. At least we had a nice outing. I am slam wore out from digging so many targets. Jack had to leave, but I stuck it out till supper. Always have been a glutton for punishment. Makes me want more of those silver days without the newer coins. Here is my loot for today.

You weren't kidding on the phone, that was a lot of digging! If we are able to go hunt tomorrow, I guarantee you won't dig near that many coins :)
