quarter blank?

Hello, i found what i think is a quarter blank.... it seems two tonned on the side and is the right size. However, it has no ridges and there is a sharp edge on one side kinda like an electrical box punchout. Whatcha think?

the pic won't do anything...alll you will see a round piece of metal. also, my camera can't show the two-toned edge.

Probably is a blank planchet. I have seen them come out of bank rolls before.
