I put this over on the coins form but I'll post it here to because this is where I am most of the time.
Need a little help so I hope I'm in the right spot. I have a 1985 D quarter with very smooth edge, no reeds at all. The quarter is twice as thick as a normal quarter. The front and back are normal. By eye the circumference is the same as a normal quarter. Is this an error, and if so, what's it called? Thanks
