I went to an old store down the road and got a Dr Pepper and got change for it and I look in the penny cup and here you go
I pull out an 1911 penny and I told the man I collect coins and he showed me a 1909 - 1940 penny book, and I said do you want to sell it he said sure so I gave him 2 bucks for it and when I got home I go to put the 1911 penny in the blue penny book, I said to my wife look what I got, she said wow only you can do that find a penny a 1911 and then buy an old penny book and got to put the new Penny in it, that made my day.


and the quarter was pocket change, wow

dont see the error on the penny, and the quarter has post mint damage, its not an error.

Looks like there is a bend in the top rim of the 1960 and the other penny has some issues with the face detail. Not sure about errors but I see what your saying. 8) 8)

It appears that Abe has a mustache on the 1982 penny or is that a reflection? LOL Abe looks pretty good with a mustache

I'll have to argue the mis-strike idea on the quarter because there is no double image suggesting soo.

I agree that the quarter looks like post-mint damage, but do these look like letters in the circled area?

If those are actually letters then the only coin that matches the circle imprint on the quarter is the nickel like af1733 posted earlier. Regardless its all post mint. 8) 8)
