If there are no stamps, no .925, it's a white metal fashion cross. It's a good looking pendant.

The nice part is, with Christmas coming all you need is a new silver chain and you have a re-purposed gift.

Yours does look like silver. Can't make out the 925 stamp on yours, but the pin shown below has a faint stamp that suggests the stamp may be done somewhat haphazardly.

The Maltese Cross design (Iron Cross) coupled with a black onyx stone is a common motif.
