Does anyone know if the removable Battery Case in an Garrett AT Pro is the same as the Battery case used in the Garrett GTA, GTX GTP Series detectors? The cases look the same on the web but the GTX version cost $1 less to order. If they are the same case I will order the less expensive.

Cheap Ass Out!

Agree ...IF they are the same if they are not then you would have paid too much because the time it will take you to return the item is worth at least $100. And if you dont value your time that much there is nothing I can say to ever change your mind. In the very end of our lives I highly doubt any of us would wish for anything but more time in this earth with the ones we love.

The best way to settle this is to call Customer Service at Garrett. I know a few guys who had damaged their battery cases and Garrett replaced them for free.

Thanks for the responses. I have put a call into Garrett. I still have a working holder so I can hunt while I get an answer. Good Hunting.

I believe they are different, as I see different part numbers listed on a few MD dealer websites.

Are you talking about the 4 cell AA battery holders for the AT Pro? if so you can get 2 of those on E-bay for under 10 dollars.

Well I called Garrett and told them my situation. They were super nice and helpful. They sent me 2 new holders free with free shipping and it arrived 2 days later. Great customer support. They will make their money back on me on my next order. Thanks for all the comments.
