After work decided to hunt an old RR depot I have permission to hunt and first plug was the 1893 dime the oldest one I've found yet. And a few feet away found the bath token thingy not sure what it is exactly but happy to listen to ideas. The ring I found the day before and thought it was pretty cool. It rang up 13-16 on the etrac not sure what its made of. Dig it!!!!

nice finds man! gotta be more there! HH

very nice ! the bathhouse tag I believe is used to label valves such as ball/gate valves used in plumbing. I myself am a plumber and have use them very often.

The tag is from a bathhouse at Lake Comar, near Story City, Iowa. You might want to check out the Ames Historical Society as a similar one was donated recently to their collection.

Good call on the bath house tag. I will contact them maybe they need another donation. Any idea on the age of it?

The bathhouses were opened in 1915-1916 and continued into the 1930's at least.
