Quick Evening Hunt

Hey y'all! Walked a logging road in the foothills this evening for about 30 minutes and found these two little guys! Can anyone identify the first one? Possibly paleo period? I know the second one is an Appalachian style bird point...unfortunately the tip didn't survive. Thanks in advance!

Nice finds , the first may be also be an Appalachian point heavily re-sharpened if that’s the case early archaic

Morrow Mountain? I'm not very knowledgeable about points, but I found a few very similar to yours when I lived near Ft. Bragg waaaay back in 1967-8.


Not my photo (below), but a couple of mine look like the one I'm attaching, which is similar to yours.

Awesome finds and I'm thinking Morrow Mountain on the 2nd one also.

Went back to this location today, which is perched on top of a hill. Didn't find anymore points but did find quite a few flint and quartz flakes. Also found a couple pieces of pottery and one single decent-sized soapstone rock. Each of these things were found no more than 15 yards apart. Walked a good half mile in each direction from the location and didn't find anything else at all. Could this spot have been some sort of encampment?
