Hi all
Managed to get in a quick one hour beach hunt this morning.
Our weather here has been sensational, and beach hunting conditions pretty good. The beaches have copped quite a bit
of erosion following a tropical cyclone up north causing HUGE surf (the remnants of the cyclone which battered Fiji).
I spent yesterday working a scalloped out section and trough in about 3` of water, but having my phone and car keys on me, I wasn't going to
get too adventurous in the surf. No luck in the surf, however the trough and scallop were VERY soft underfoot which didn't promise anything worthwhile
being within detecting range. I did manage to find a few dollars in spendables back on the dry sand.
Today, popped down for a quick one hour, the scallop/trough had gone, so I worked towel line......found 4 coins and a (Dreamcatcher?) earring (pic attached).
Happy Hunting all.
