Good afternoon! I’m in California for a half a month as a trip to meet with some relatives and long time no see friends. My grandmother gets up very early every morning to clean around the house. I get up just as early to ask if we go to the park and look for
. Everyone else doesn’t get up until much later so we agree and we were off. I don't recognize the park and she says it has only been around for a year and 1/2. Only half a mile away and still a cool 68°F. My grandmother unexpectedly meets a friend there and converse while I got started.
I got started detecting around tables and large trees were most people hang out.

Got a few that minute v

My first modern coin spill (5 coins). I found 10 more separate in that area.

Worked my way up to the edge of a kiddie park and I find my FIRST Lincoln wheat as a dug find.

Now into the sand pit right by the swings, I get another good signal… Another copper penny. Not just any other penny..... A second wheat penny!

It became too hot with 79°F after and hour and 12 minutes. Back home I cleaned them and lay them out.
The wheats are 1958-D and 1946
$2.28 in total
Thanks for looking and good afternoon again from Kern County
