Quick hunt this morning....hood ornament? and an IH.

Went out this morning for a little while this morning on my property. Their used to be an archery course here many, many years ago and after talking to a co worker who remembered where some stuff was situated he told me their was a concession stand. Not sure if I located that spot but did manage to find a 1924 wheatie so I may be honing in on it. About 25 - 30 ft from the wheatie I pulled out this hood ornament? which after some googlin' looks like it could be from a 1926 Chrysler Six.







I then went next door to my parents house to snoop around. They live next door, about 1/4 mile through the woods. The same coworker told me their used to be an old 'shack' of sorts up there where they built their house. He remembered playing in / near it as a kid. I thought I had an idea where he was describing and found a bunch of old tin in the ground. Maybe a roof? Then hit this 1890 IH penny about 20 ft or so from it.

Yea beat up pretty badly...I was surprised it cleaned up as well as it did considering the way it looked when I pulled it outta ground.

Cool finds, I have pulled a couple old radiator caps out of the ground too, nice IH
