Walked down to our old town beach/playground along the creek today for a quick hunt. Managed to find 5 quarters, 1 nickel, 5 dimes, 8 pennies, (earliest coin date 1967), and a Waterbury Co's Conn button of which I am unsure of the type/age? Any help identifying appreciated. That's great ya never know what youll find Good job!!!

Nice haul. ...And a nice-looking park.

That Alpha with the DD coil sure is working good for you. Congrats on getting out and rescuing those coins. :occasion14: Sorry I am no help on the cool button.

Nice finds for just an hour of work/fun...

IMG_1868.webpAfter a little research the button appears to be a New Jersey State Seal button. When it was made and for what is still a mystery? It measures 5/8 inches in diameter.

Congrats on your bodacious hand full of clad (adds up) and button finds - never seen a button like that before - anyway thanks for sharing your pictures and story with us. I wish you many more great finds while out dirt fishing.
