Spent the day with Jeff of PA, we did as much driving as we did swinging I think. We hit an old ballfield and two parks today for a total of about 3½ hours of detecting time.
I'm not sure my finds will hold a candle to Jeff's great finger puppet find but here goes;
At the ballfield I hit one wheat cent and this little religious medal at about 8" deep...it's small, about half the size of a dime and thinner.

At the first park, in addition to two wheats I found this pocket watch back, turned out quite ornate once I got it home and put some elbow grease to it. The initials are "B M".

At the second park I found one more wheat cent and three deep nickels, two of which turned out to be buffalo nickels. One is a 1925, the other has no date. It's a shame what PA dirt does to Buffs.

All in all another decent day with my new Etrac, 13 memorials, 4 wheats ('23,'27,'44 and '46), two dimes, three nickels, the pendant and the watch back. The last stop was so full of iron I switched the E over to two tone ferrous and it worked like a charm to hit the nickels, all of which were at least 8" deep.
